SECPhO attended a program committee meeting of ¨Invest in Photonics¨ – the biggest venture capital event of photonics sector in Europe that will be held in Bordeaux, France on 9-10th of October, 2014.

During the meeting markets of photonics applications were identified which will be the orientation for companies wanting to pitch for investment from the VCs from around the world. Currently, the areas of interest are life science, advanced manufacturing, aerospace & automotive, environment & sustainability and comsumer electronics (still to be clarified).

The key markets and keynote speakers will be announced later in the coming months but you can already contact us if you would like to participate and pitch for investment and we will provide you with more information and give support in other preparation tasks.
