Sergio Sáez

Sergio is the cluster manager, executive director of secpho. He is a person who knows how to listen, connect and motivate others, creating an atmosphere of trust and optimism. He holds an MBA from ESADE and is an industrial engineer specialised in robotics. His main skills are leadership, strategic vision, good negotiation and team development skills, qualities that allowed him to support entrepreneurial projects carried on his own or by others. He collaborates with prestigious business schools, such as Esade and UPC School, and is a regular lecturer in the Master in Photonics BCN. Sergio continuously imagines possibilities and builds realities, which is why - if you become enthusiastic about a project with him - he always takes you one step further.

ELISABETH TORRALBA

Passionate about video games, which make her dream of other worlds, Eli is the ideal person to be secpho's Metaverse Onboarding Manager. Graduated in Business Sciences and with a postgraduate degree in Product Manager, her goal is to make the metaverse an accessible, enjoyable and fun tool. With great empathy and ability to explain new technologies to people in a simple way, her passion for continuously identifying areas of improvement leads her to get the best results.

SILVIA CAÑADA

Silvia is in charge of the communication and events of the Cluster. She acquired a degree in Applied Sociology and her curiosity for personal relationships led her to study a course in Emotional Intelligence. An extraordinary friend, whoever knows her says she gives great advice and her facial expressions are very telling, so she is the person to talk to as she listens to you with a huge smile on her face. Willing to give her best in everything she does, and with discretion, she will always contribute to any project she is involved in, be at professional or personal level, since for her it is the small details that make the difference.

CONSTANTÍ SÁNCHEZ

Constantí joins the secpho team as Project Manager. He enjoys interpersonal relationships and understands his role in project management as a facilitator and energizer to get things done. Constantí holds a Postgraduate Degree in Management Development and a Master in Project Management from La Salle, has a degree in Physics and a solid experience in project management developed in different sectors. His ability to build trust and long-term relationships, the ability to focus on what is important, combined with his optimism and joy, makes each project a new journey in good company.

SANDRA MORENTE

Graduated in Administration, Sandra is responsible for the administrative processes of the Cluster. Despite being passionate about language, reading and languages, she found accounting and its processes very rewarding. Her communication skills, together with her empathy and attention to detail, make her an easy person to deal with. Her motto is: Doing things with attitude makes a difference and above all, always with a smile.

ÁLEX TURPIN

Alex is our scientific consultant. He is passionate about learning and discovering new things every day, so being a scientist and a technological innovator is not a job for him, but the basic element of his DNA. As graduate in Physics, Master in Photonics and Doctor in Physics, he is currently developing machine learning algorithms to create intelligent sensors and imaging technologies. The good thing about Alex is that he doesn't keep his know-how to himself, as he is enthusiastic about disseminating science and gets excited when technological solutions cover real needs. He feels that the cycle of knowledge is perfect when it leads to innovation.
